33 Configuring the RAS with a Web browser

Note The default gateway has not been conﬁgured at this time. You can

access the web pages with a PC located on the same network as the

RAS or you must conﬁgure the default gateway using HyperTermi-

nal. Select i IP then 2 Default Gateway.

Conﬁguring the RAS with a Web browser

This section describes conﬁguring the following:

• User authentication

• Dial-in user conﬁguration

• Default gateway

Opening the RAS Web Administration Pages

Do the following:

1. Connect the RAS to the LAN.

2. Start a Web browser session and go to the URL:

http://<the.ras.ip.address>

where the <the.ras.ip.address> is the IP address of the RAS entered in Step 8.

3. When the username and password window displays, type superuser as the username and password,

then press <RETURN>. The Administration Pages

Home window appears (see ﬁgure 17).
